Got in contact through a recruiter. Had a zoom call with about 4 other people including the person I would ultimately be working for. During this, we talked about compensation for 2 months to help me start at the company, which everyone agreed to. I even went to the office I would have worked at and the branch manager confirmed this. Shortly after, I was told that the 2 months compensation would not be offered.
