Applied for the role online and the VP of Talent reached out to schedule a video chat. During the interview she seemed tired and kept yawning on the video call. I readily assumed that she wasn't enjoying the conversation. Ended the video call on a positive note and promised me an update on the following Monday. 3 weeks go an and even after multiple follow ups, no response. Finally she sent a generic email that they have moved forward with another candidate. (However the role is still posted on their website) Just be honest and dont waste time of your candidates. Be upfront and move on.
