Three total interviews. Initial call with recruiter, Google Meets interview, and presentation.
Still reeling from the fact that a presentation was needed for an entry level associate position. Received my rejection email two days later. I feel that if a candidate is committed enough to complete a presentation during the interview process, it would only be right to send a non-generic rejection email. Between all three stages, the process was about two weeks. I feel as though my time was wasted and I have no feedback on the reasoning for their decision. If a candidate is committed enough to complete a presentation during the interview process, it would only be right to send a non-generic rejection email.
Here's a tip, maybe consider the role you're hiring for when deciding if something a in-depth as a presentation is necessary. People are looking for employment because they need it, not to play games. Making major requests of a entry level position is not only asinine, but a direct reflection of the capitalistic and classist society we are forced to be a part of. Please consider the needs of your candidates when expecting them to, essentially work for you, without some much as the decency as to provide actual feedback. Do better, Partnerize.
