Interview process: HR discussion on email (mainly salary discussions), followed by a technical discussion with CFO. Next, a final technical interview with the CEO and CFO, and concluding with the final HR discussions.
My interview experience:
Despite confirming salary expectations multiple times through email and WhatsApp, my candidature was eventually rejected based on my 10th, 12th, and graduation grades rather than my professional experience or knowledge related to the role.
After 4–5 years of industry experience, evaluating candidates primarily on school or college marks instead of relevant skills and expertise feels unreasonable.
Additionally, the rejection email was a generic template, which made the entire process feel impersonal.
If the company has strict budget or academic criteria, it would be more respectful to communicate those clearly at the beginning rather than investing the candidate’s time and effort in multiple interview rounds.
