Unethical practices by the HR and hiring manager. Applied for position of Manager. I was contacted by HR and informed to come for an in-person interview. During the interview, the hiring manager proceeds to tell me I was not qualified for the position which really confused me as they were the ones who decided to interview me after reading my resume. Hiring manager offered me a different position which was two tiers below the applied position with a 30% - 40% pay cut. These were perhaps the most out of touch people I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. Incredibly disrespectful and a complete waste of my time.
