      Candidatura

Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Pearson (Hoboken, NJ) em set. de 2015

      Entrevista

Current employee (former colleague of mine) of Pearson reached out to me because they wanted to hire someone like me on their team. I'm open to new opportunities so I applied for the role. They and their manager made it sound like they wanted to get someone in within the next month. Clearly HR didn't understand this. I applied in July 2015 for the role. It took HR over 3 weeks to get back to me to schedule phone interview. When HR finally contacted me they were not flexible with scheduling, they wanted me to rearrange my whole schedule to talk to hiring manager. I moved my schedule, person I was supposed to have the call with was over 20 minutes late, call was only scheduled for 30. Had good conversation with manager and he told me he would tell HR to setup in person. It took HR another 8 business days to reach back out to me even after I followed up twice. In person was scheduled. They have a lot of offices in the NYC area I asked HR several times confirming they wanted me to go to the office in Hoboken because my former colleague worked in an office in manhattan. I go all the way to Hoboken only to find out I'm supposed to be in Manhattan. HR person of course is no where to be found. I asked former colleague he wasn't sure because his manager worked out of both offices so it could have been either. I had to get back to work, I was so frustrated with the process I removed myself from the interview process and asked to no longer be considered.
