Met the HVAC manager at a restaurant/bar to discuss my skill set. We met and had a very personal/intimate discussion. It was pleasant. The roles that were discussed were somewhat associated with my education and experience. I offered to be placed in the most useful role to the company to develop value as a new employee. I later found that the role required more technical expertise than I shared that I could personally deliver without support. Although I was promised to get the support it was never really made available when I needed help in the field. They have some very talented people on their team but may not be giving them proper incentive to help their peers.
