The interview process was great. Had 3 rounds(2 technical+1 HR). I was interviewed by a Senior director from US and was given an exercise involving analytics.
Passed the test with flying colors and really connected with the senior director, who shared the same passion for data science.
Had a great HR round too with senior talent managers for fit assesment, got positive feedback.
But when it came to salary negotiation, they ended up offering me a figure lower than my current salary! and that too after I had already set up salary expectations before initiating the interview process.
Putting a warning for future candidates. Please Beware! Their hr processes are highly mismanged. It was such a pity to see a big company like Pentair waste numerous hours of their senior leadership and the candidate only to fall short of budget and get rejected by the candidate. (I initially thought they might have found a better candidate and hence I was rejected, but since I applied through a referral from an employee, he shared that a job posting about that role is still being floated and nobody had joined as of then i.e. 3 months after the interview process ended)
