      Entrevista

      The interview process consisted of a single technical round (TR1). It started with a quick introduction, followed by data structures and algorithms questions. I was asked to explain multiple approaches for each problem and discuss their time complexities. After that, I was asked to write clean and optimized code for each problem. The interviewer was friendly and encouraged me to explain my thought process clearly. Overall, it was a smooth and focused interview experience. The second technical round (TR2) focused on both practical coding and theoretical Java/Spring questions. I was given two coding problems, one involving string pattern matching and another with filtering and deduplicating a list of custom objects based on logic using maps and dates. Alongside this, I was also asked conceptual questions such as: What is an exception in Java? What is the difference between authentication and authorization? What does @ComponentScan do in Spring? The interview was interactive. I was expected to write and explain my code clearly, along with discussing how to optimize it. Theoretical questions tested my understanding of core Java and Spring framework concepts. Overall, it was a balanced round testing both coding and backend knowledge.

      TR1 Questions (Technical Coding - DSA): 1. Find the Kth smallest element in an unsorted array. Discuss multiple approaches and their time complexities. 2. Given an array of strings, find the longest common prefix. 3. Find the element that appears only once in a sorted array where every other element appears twice. (Implement an O(log n) binary search approach.) 4. Reverse a singly linked list. Questions for TR2: 1. Given an input string and a search substring, write a method to find the number of occurrences of the search substring in the input. 2. Given a list of Employee objects, filter out duplicates based on employeeId, keeping the one with the most recent updated_date.
