Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Perry Ellis International em mar. de 2026
Entrevista
I interviewed for a senior-level role and had concerns early in the process about compensation structure and transparency. The role was presented with a fixed salary, no bonus opportunity, limited 401(k) match, and limited detail around benefits or PTO. For a senior-level position, this did not align with my expectations based on market norms.
Before continuing further in the interview process, I reviewed publicly available employee feedback across multiple sources. Several recurring themes appeared, including compensation below market, limited perceived advancement opportunities, and concerns around management style and work-life balance. While individual reviews vary, the consistency of these themes stood out.
Based on this information, I chose to withdraw my candidacy.
After canceling remaining interviews, I received a follow-up from HR. The communication was brief and transactional in tone, with little engagement or acknowledgment of my decision. It did not change my impression from the earlier stages of the process.

I applied through their website and was first contacted by a recruiter. After speaking with her I had two rounds of interviews. Interviews were about a week apart from each other. Recruiter delivered the news to me and their internal HR sent me my official job offer. Had to fill out some paperwork, complete a drug test, and do a background check. They do start dates every other Monday.

First interview went well with the hiring manager located at NY HQ , then a 2nd IV was scheduled with the CPO in Miami, she didn’t show up to the Interview, a jr Recruiter did and apologized on behalf the CPO, started to ask again typical screening questions (salary? Willing to work onsite? Experience?) then she ended the IV and never heard back. Very bad experience as a candidate, I will never consider to work at PEI
