The first step was a phone screen with Mary which was pretty standard and Mary was really easy to talk to and it went well. Since I wasn't local, I then had another phone screen with Manny which also went well. My only complaint was that I was left to follow up with Mary weekly to find out status of my candidacy. If I didn't reach out to follow up, I would not hear any feedback. I'm no stranger to being busy but this went on for weeks. Candidate experience is very important to me when I'm recruiting and I just did not have a great candidate experience here at all. Felt like I was more of a bother. If there was no position available for me, I would have rather been told that from the beginning instead of being strung along and asked to continue following up every Friday...
