I was referred to them through a friend. I had multiple email conversations prior to a phone interview. The person interviewing me was the one I would be working for as well. We spent close to an hour on the phone with him questioning me on various topics, then asking me followup questions that let me know he was paying attention. He told me quite a bit about the diverse culture and politics that go on there daily but told me it wasn't typically political from day to day. I was pretty happy with what I heard and he thought I would make a good fit as well. Two days later he apologized and let me know nepotism played a part in me not getting the position.

Talk me through the worst day ever where you are currently employed. What happened, how did you handle it and what, if any were the long term effects?

Entrevista
HR and manager phone interviews. Then nearly 5 hours on site. Approximately 7 people interviewed me during mostly 1:1s lasting 30 minutes each. Then at the end the VP unexpectedly interviewed me. Everyone with the exception of the hiring manager interviewed by conversation and applicable experience questions. Great people. Then there was the hiring manager with no personality and two sheets of goal oriented Lohminger questions. They were difficult to answer especially after nearly 4 hours of previous interviews. I left questioning how I could work for him. Everyone else was fantastic and left me feeling excited about the company and position. It was a great fit.
Then I heard through a friend that I didn't get the job. That was fine. However, HR never let me know anything. I left a phone message asking for feedback or other positions. Didn't even return my call. After that time investment, candidates really deserve a phone call or some type of personal contact. It says alot about a company when they treat potential employees this way.

Entrevista
Four different interviews with leadership in the area. Each person had their own set of questions and many of the questions were asking about the company values. It was nice to get a feel for each of their personalities and decide if this was a good fit for my work style. Everyone was very friendly and easy to talk with.
