There were a few stages:
1.) initial interview with recruiter which felt very much like a conversation. This made me feel so at ease.
2.) interview with a more senior statistician who asked questions relating to statistics knowledge learned at university. These weren’t overly complicated either!
3.) technical exam and 2 short tests.
4.) group interview to see how you work in a team. This was a great exercise and I felt very relaxed during the process.

Describe what a confidence interval is to a non-statistician.
HR call then two interviews . One technical SAS test and interview and then one standard statistical skills interview along with competencies. SAS test was lengthy with multiple choice as well a free coding questions.

Why would you like to work for the company? What is a p value? What is a confidence interval?
There are two stages in the interview process. The first is a SAS test and review of a couple of tables, then this is followed by a formal interview discussing previous experience, stats knowledge and how you would handle certain situations in the company.
