Applied on line. I had worked for Philips years before in Robotics. I got a call back from an internal recruiter. It went very well. I have over 17 years in Healthcare IT sales. This was a slam dunk so I thought. I get a call from the hiring manager and that went very well and was called back to come to SC to present, at a hotel where apparently they were having other interviews that same day. When i walked in to present (an about me and why I was qualified), there were 3 people. the Hiring manager which was very nice and engaging, and then there were two Account Executives whom I would join the team. one was a male and one female. The male seemed ok with being there and asked logical questions the female had some sort of issue with just being there generally. I think she must have recommended a friend. She asked no questions and looked like she didn't care I was presenting. I noticed the manager looking her way several times and so did the male account executive. At the end I asked for follow-up question from them, the manager asked a few conditional questions and the male did as well then they both looked at the female and without looking up at me she said she none. Here I was travelled to that hotel in some small town I already forgot, to get treated like that. If I were the manager and I have been once I would have ignored what ever this clown of an employee had to say but I bet she is there cause sells well (no clue how with that attitude) Maybe I may have been a threat to her some how. Anyway days later I heard back in an email and email! after traveling for them and preparing a presentation that I was passed over.
