O processo levou 1 semana. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Philz Coffee.

Filled out a lengthy online application, got a video interview. The woman and I had a really good rapport and implied I would be offered a position, I answer all her questions with ease and things were looking good. Two days later got an email saying they pursued other candidates. I’ve applied to philz maybe four times over the years since, having always been a huge huge fan of their coffee and brand. I have yet to get another interview and it is frustrating that just because one recruiter turned me down, I seem to be blacklisted from a company for which I used to have a lot of respect? I now work as a barista at Peets, and have trouble understanding why philz acts like it is difficult to train someone to literally pour water over coffee grinds. Philz baristas do nothing. They don’t even steam milk or pull shots. Peets is willing to take a chance on rookies and I will never give philz my business again. Can’t figure out why they wouldn’t hire someone who has an extensive knowledge of coffee and their products. Your loss. I have zero respect left for your company.
Candidatei-me pessoalmente. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Philz Coffee (Palo Alto, CA).

Interview was super chill and gave a clear insight on job expectations. The company culture is great but the customers can be hit-or-miss (as with all food service jobs). The team is also a big plus - you make a lot of great friends and have opportunities to learn more about the business if you want to.
I applied on indeed and got an email a day later. From what I know they don’t use AI either. Recruiters were all super personable and helpful! They make the whole interview process really easy and comfortable. I’ve been able to maintain those connections throughout my time there.
Zoom interview with recruiter. Asking why you're interested in company, experience and availability. Emphasis on working there long term as they want new hires to stay at least 6 months but they want long term employees
