During the video chat interview, I asked two very basic questions. How many employees will this position supervise? What branches are currently hiring for this position? The interviewers would not answer either question. I don’t know how I’m expected to decide whether a job is right for me if I’m not given basic information like where I would be working and how many employees I’d be supervising. The interviewers were either very uninformed or very cagey about details, and neither option reflects well on the organization. I withdrew from consideration because it would be impossible for me to decide whether I was right for the job when I knew so little about the job itself.
