I filled out an application online for the State Wayne Theatre and I got a phone call about a week later. I set up my interview for a couple of days later at the Livonia Theatre. I had a good experience, there was one other person getting interviewed before me but it didn't take too long. The interviewer was very friendly and overall it took about 15 minutes and was a pleasant experience, and I got the job. Some things they were interested in were prior job experiences (Security at MSU so I dealt with people a lot, and McDonald's where I handled registers and money and, again, dealt with people a lot), and if I could interact with people. A big thing they are looking for there is the "community" feeling, and it's pretty much a requirement that you have been to the theatre that you are applying to.
