Entrevista
One of the weird interviews I’ve ever attended. It started with a call from HR looking at my inactive CV in Naukri to attend the planned walk-in kind of interview. I was told there will 2 rounds, technical and then a HR round. I was the first person to arrive and they made me wait for like 1 and half hours.
I was not told to which position they are interviewing for (BA, Sr. BA or a Lead BA) the first round was with a Jr. guy who was like “Can you run me through your CV?” you’ll not believe I went through 6 rounds of F2F with these guys - ranging from BA, Sr. BA, BA Manager, HR Manager, Delivery Managers. They all asked me the same question “Can you run me through your CV?” and then about Scrum, I believe they are still trying to master scrum and threw dumb questions. As I went talking to people higher in the ladder I was told I’m being interviewed for Lead BA.
It was a shock of my life when the HR Manager told me that they cannot even match my current salary! They wasted 2 productive days of mine with their useless evaluation system and the HR dept. did not even have the courtesy to call me and inform that they cannot pay the salary I asked for.
Overall, I see their BA practice as very amateur and the hiring process needs to be streamlined. HR did not even tell whom I’m going to meet during the F2F discussions; I was talking to a delivery manager thinking she is the HR manager.
Please think twice before attending interviews with Photon. During the interview itself I was told that I’ll have to work for 14hrs a day, do these guys know what the labour law in India is? Their pay is well below the market standards. I personally felt the work culture to be pretty bad through 2 days of my observation. I’m sorry Photon, you have to grow up, learn to handle experienced candidates better.
Final Verdict: Waste of time and energy.

Entrevista
The interview was conducted for a duration of 30 minutes. The HR person is really helpful and informs us on topics to prepare. The following was the interview process:
1)The interviewer asks to explain how you landed in current role
2)The interviewer asks to write user stories for a specific scenario with Given when then condition.
3)The interviewer then asked to explain product experience and also some related terminologies.
4)The interviewer asked definition of RAG and definitions related to agentic AI.
If the interviewer feels any of the solution is not satisfying then you would be rejected. He explains why such critical evaluation is done as it is an intense project where they cannot allocate time for learning and improvisation. It is better in a way as the interviewer mentioned it is a time packed project with little space for rectification. They ensure you feel comfortable while at the same time informing areas to improve.

Recruitment Agent > Manager > Director.
Advertised salary was changed during process. After offer HR phoned me and dropped it further as 'they agent was wrong' despite director confirming. I verbally accepted new salary and was awaiting contract when I get a call to say they 'have a squeeze' and need to lower offer. Completely unprofessional way of behaving and waste of my time. Took role from average senior salary to average junior. Complete scam artists.
