Candidatei-me pessoalmente. O processo levou 3 dias. Fui entrevistado pela Pier 1 Imports (Longview, TX) em abr. de 2012
Entrevista
I went to the store and got two papers; one being the link to an online application and the other a written application. I turned in the written the next day, and the online didn't work so I had to call and get another link. The online application was a huge pain, but (according to the manager of my store) I did extremely well on it. It asked what you would do in a majority of situations. I got a call the day after I finished both and had an interview the next day. Wore a striped dress, cardigan and flats. The interview mostly consisted of asking of how I'd reacted in situations in other jobs and how I'd solve problems, etc.. I'd never worked retail before so there were a few times I just told her I couldn't think of how to relate to it. She said it was okay and basically gave me the answers she was looking for (which was extremely helpful and I learned from the things she told me). At the end of the interview, she offered me the job.
My friend also turned in an application and they offered him an interview on the spot, although that interview wasn't for another week.

Give me an example of a project you were responsible for in a previous job. How did you handle it?
Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Pier 1 Imports (Fort Collins, CO).

It was about 30 minutes long. The manager asked me basic questions about myself and the job. He wanted to know my availability and if I were able to unload the truck due to the boxes being heavy.
Simple and transparent process. After applying, was asked to come in to interview in person. Interview was professional and took around 45 minutes. Heard back from hiring manager within a week.
