Very simple, straight forward and brief. Largely because the nature of the position i was applying for is straight forward, simple and brief, albeit boring. I knew the manager (she didn't interview me, just referred me, I interviewed with the directors) and she gave me a glowing review to get me in the door. Once I was being interviewed it was more about competency (which transcribing is simple, so most people who can handle typing quickly are perfectly qualified), and personality (getting along with the vibe of the building which is laid back and positive).
