I recently had the opportunity to interview with Pilot Ventures and wanted to share some feedback on the process. While the staff I met with were kind, I did notice some areas where the interview process could be improved. During my first initial video interview, the interviewer was over 15 minutes late due to technical issues with no communication (email, etc.) explaining the problems to connect. The interview was then switched to a phone screening, which lasted for 45 minutes. While I appreciate the effort to make up for the delay, it did concern me. In my second interview, the interviewer I spoke with appeared unprepared and disorganized. I felt that the interview could have been better conducted by another member of the team who was more equipped to handle it. During my final in-person interview, I was uncomfortable when one of the interviewers revealed some confidential information that reflected poorly on the company. The second interviewer corrected them, which was reassuring, but still concerning. Additionally, I also felt that there was a noticeable bias when discussing clientele in the assigned regions. Overall, I would recommend reviewing the interview processes at Pilot Ventures to ensure that they align with the company's values and expectations.
