Pitchbook appears to be a fun and young work environment but lacks communication and compensation. I personally had a total of 3 phone interviews and 2 onsite interviews that consisted of meeting with 4 different people in each. Our initial phone discussions were in late May and the process took about 2.5 months start to finish. The company seems fun, however appears to lack internal communication. I received an offer for this position and asked for 1 week to review as I was in the final rounds of interviewing with other organizations. The recruiter and I discussed this and PitchBook agreed to wait the week for my decision. On Wednesday of that week a different PB employee sent me an email saying they assumed I declined the offer because I had not got back to them. There were other instances throughout the process where it appeared disorganized, for example twice I was told I would have a followup meeting after the onsite's with the same recruiter to review and discuss. Both times the recruiter did not show up to those meetings and a different employee attended whom was not familiar with the process. Aside from the interview process, PitchBook has great vision and I believe they will continue to grow and be successful. The offer for this position was not competitive.
