The first round was an initial screening, which lasted about 15 minutes and focused on basic questions about my background and experience. The second round was an HR interview, lasting about 1 hour. While it was technically an HR interview, it also had a technical aspect, where they asked about the cloud services I had worked with and my experience with DevOps tools. The third round was a panel interview with four people, including the same HR person from the previous round. This round lasted 1.5 hours and involved a series of questions on topics like Linux, SQL, DBMS, Java, Golang, and Kafka, with each person asking questions in a circular format. There was also a rapid-fire segment on Linux commands. The last 10 minutes were dedicated to open discussion, where I could ask questions and share what I do in my free time. After the third round, they informed me that the next step would be a formal discussion with a director, where the conversation would likely be more about aligning on expectations, team fit, and finalizing details. It was a comprehensive and intense process that assessed both technical expertise and cultural fit.
