      Entrevista

      So I interviewed for a Principal Engineer position. First interview went well and I received a response and request for the tech interview within 24 hours. I then had the tech interview, which I feel I nailed. Sent my thank you emails. After a week, I reached out asking if I was still in consideration for the position. No response. After a total of 10 days, I noticed they reposted the position, still no clarification. I feel it is completely rude that companies just ghost candidates like that. If you're still interviewing others, that's fine, but at least let candidates know their status.

      Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and I’m truly sorry for the lack of communication you encountered following your interview. We understand how disappointing it is to invest your time and energy into the process and not receive a timely or clear response, especially after what felt like a strong interview. That’s not the experience we aim to provide. In this case, there were internal discussions happening around the structure and focus of the role you interviewed for, which caused delays in the follow-up process. While the intent was to evaluate how your background might align with the evolving scope of the role, we recognize that we should have communicated more clearly and promptly with you during that time. We completely agree that candidates deserve transparency, even when the outcome isn’t what they hoped for. We are actively working to close those communication gaps by improving our follow-up processes and reinforcing expectations with our hiring teams.
