Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Polaroid em mai. de 2026
Entrevista
I don’t even know if I can call this an interview experience, but I applied for a position at Polaroid in Amsterdam and received an email saying they thought I was a strong candidate. However, they mentioned that the salary they could offer was lower than what I had asked for. The number was slightly below my expectation, but I was genuinely excited about the opportunity because I grew up with Polaroid products and the role itself sounded very interesting. I also thought the email was professional and respectful.
I replied saying that I was okay with the salary they were offering. After that, I heard nothing back. I sent a follow-up email a few days later, but they completely ghosted me for exactly 2 months and 3 days before finally sending a generic rejection email.
I understand that companies consider multiple candidates and that not every application moves forward, but I expected more professional communication and basic respect throughout the process.

Entrevista
I had two interviews, one with the recruiter and one with the hiring manager but never heard back from them.
Firstly, the sessions were arranged in short notice or they would change the interview time the same day. They communicated a salary level and then in the interview told me that this is the maximum and is not really offered. I was motivated about the role so I wanted to talk to the hiring manager either way. I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager, but HR never communicated after that. I followed up twice asking for feedback, but didn't receive a response. Therefore, the overall experience was dissapointing.
