The interview with Pophouse Detroit was very professional and thorough. All of my individual questions were thoughtfully answered and the interviewer gave me a descriptive rundown of their company. She also took time to get to know my past work history and gave me ample time to expand upon my answers.

I sent out a cold email applying to a position they were not currently hiring for. I was contacted the very next day by a recruiter from Quicken Loans to set up a phone interview for that same afternoon. They interviewed me for a senior-level interior design position even though I'm an entry-level applicant. When I questioned this, they said they like to interview applicants for all open positions. I received a follow up call 2 days after the interview to let me know that I did not have enough experience and they were not currently hiring for entry-level positions. Phone interview lasted about 15-20 minutes. Asked pretty generic questions. Interview process went very fast! I just think there may have been a misunderstanding about my experience level and what I was applying for.
