A recruiter reaches out to you and does an initial phone screen to gauge your experience & personal interests. A few behavioral questions are asked, and if all goes well, you will be invited to interview with the hiring manager. If your interview with the hiring manager also goes well, you'll have one more interview with the hiring manager's manager as almost a formality.
