I had one Teams interview with a recruiter, then did an assessment. The interview was actually easy, standard questions. I thought the HR spent a little too much time introducing the organization and the role, which the applicant could and should have already researched. The assessment centered on sorting and prioritizing emails and making a deck for the VP, using content from their website. Not hard stuff either, but I felt pressed for time having to extract information from unfamiliar content for someone whose style/purpose I don't fully know.
Correspondence with the one recruiter was amiable throughout, but she never got back to me after the assessment when she said she was going to the following week. I waited and followed up, no words.
It's disrespectful to ask your candidates to do your assessment and then ghost them. It's OK if you don't think I'm a fit for the job, but at least you should let me know after taking up my time and energy.
