I recently interviewed at Poseida Therapeutics for a . While the overall process was well-structured, I found the technical portion of the interview somewhat unprofessional. The panel asked a lot of minor and highly specific technical questions, many of which seemed unnecessary and disconnected from the core responsibilities of the role. This approach felt less like an evaluation of my expertise and more like a trivia quiz, which detracted from the overall experience.
The company has an interesting focus and potential, but I believe the interview process could be improved by focusing on relevant skills and a candidate’s ability to solve real-world problems rather than overly detailed questions. This would make the experience more engaging and reflective of the collaborative culture they likely aim to foster
