Phone pre-interview before the interview, but don't take their pre-interviews casually. Very thought provoking and challenging questions were asked to get to the next stage. This was a new position being created and they wanted to know how I imagined what the position would look like and in a more formal way, basically they asked what do I bring to the table to ensure that this position thrives and accomplishes what it sets out to accomplish.
