      Candidatura

Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Premier Match (New York, NY) em ago. de 2014

      Entrevista

1- The First Call - First, I was contacted via phone to answer some questions and learn more about the company. Then, I was scheduled an in-office interview in their NYC location. 2 - The First Interview - At the first interview, I was asked a serious of questions and responded to a few client service related scenarios. I was asked at the end about my salary requirements and told them what I was currently making as well as what I expected in compensation. I was invited to a second interview for a computer test and to meet with the CEO. 3 - "The Second Interview" AKA The Test - The computer test took up all of my time. The exam was written as a large run on sentence of things to complete. The majority of the items to complete were on Google Drive and then I had to hand write notes based on chicken scratch that they wrote. This was to see how well I could decipher chicken scratch. About a half hour into the test I was told that while there is no time limit, there is a time limit? I think I did very well on the test, considering how poorly it was given. Then, I met the CEO for less than a minute because she had to run out to a meeting, which I thought was odd. Then, the main person interviewing me also had a meeting so had no time to discuss anything further with me. I waited around with her assistant for a while but the meeting ran longer than expected, which I understood, but I found it odd that I couldn't just take the test at home. I wasted time off from my current job and didn't even get to discuss more details on the position. I was told they would get back to me when they had time to review the test, but that I was a very good candidate and they would give me a call. They gave me a specific date and time for the call, and even requested a Skype meeting. 4 - The Final Call - This call turned out to be a bust because she as at least 10 minutes late. They let me know they were still making their decision, and asked me the same basic questions from the first interview, again. Once we circled back to the salary I wanted, I answered the same way I did the first time. Then she moved on to all of her other questions. Once she was done, I asked her if the salary I mentioned was still doable. She said no, they were offering around $10,000 less than I was currently making. In addition, there were no health benefits. So as one could imagine I was very disgusted that this company would invite me to a second interview knowing from the first meeting my current salary and benefits package. If you can't even offer me close to my current compensation, why would my time be wasted like this? This to me, is disrespectful and inexcusable. This company is not worth your time. - Unless of course you have very low standards.

      Pergunta 1

Honestly, all of the questions were pretty easy for me based on the fact that my experience from my current job aligned with this job. The hardest I would say for most people would be the scenario question that they asked: "Bob and Sally had their first date. Bob leaves a message that he had a great time and wants to see Sally again. But Sally emails you that she thought Bob was awful and arrogant. Before you have time to talk to Sally, Bob calls again and asks you what Sally said. What do you do?"
