I was given a test task. I have 7 days to finish it. It was a whole landing page for THEIR product. I did custom icons/illustrations and 3D graphic assets. I was sticking to their brand guidelines. After I sent it to them I received no answer. The recruiter working for them told me I was rejected. And nothing more. I asked for feedback - they've said my 3D skills weren't as good. - but during the interview they were pleasantly surprised I even have 3D skills. So they liked it. What I am suspecting they are doing this so that they have free design materials and ideas. I was stupid enough to give them the source file even. I am not doing the same mistakes again - terrible experience, communication and ethics.
