I emailed the director directly with my resume and cover letter. Was asked to come in for an interview. Immediately felt uncomfortable upon getting in there, and it was obvious they were expecting me to *ahem* look a little different. Was half heartedly given an application to fill out, then met the director in her office. She wasn't as interested as in her emails, and flatly told me they were looking for people for a different time than what I needed. She shook my hand and said she'd contact me if anything turned up (yeah right) and I awkwardly left.
