Most pathetic interview process, I've ever seen in my 6 years of IT experience. Stages: 1. Written test 2. technical F2F interview. 3. Manager F2F interview 4. HR I reached there at 10:30 and was told to sit/wait in cafeteria. Almost 60 candidates sitting there for their turn for written test. One guy told me that 1st batch is giving test then we'll get chance for test on first come first serve basis. One batch had only 10-15 candidates so you can imagine time to get your turn for written. I gave my written test at 12:30 and was told to wait in cafeteria for result. At 2:30 few candidates including me had to reach out to HR for result and she replied, "Oh, you guys didn't get your results? Which batch you were in?". Great!!. (one senior candidate was so frustrated that he left without knowing his written test result, which we got to know later that he had cleared written.) So HR wrote our names on a paper and came back to us at 3:00 pm with few name who had cleared the written (i was one of them who cleared). We were told to wait again for technical F2F interview. After waiting for almost three hours again, at 5:30, my no. came and I went for interview. It lasted for almost 50-60 minutes. Interviewer told me to wait in cafeteria again, and HR will get back to you. Interview was good and I was sure that I had cleared the second round. Meanwhile met a lot of candidates and made few new friends. one of them was 9 yrs experienced Tech Lead who was also waiting for the result of his second round. He was also very happy with his interview and was sure that he has qualified for Manager round. HR came to cafeteria, shouted the name of the guy (tech lead) and to our shock, shouted in front of everyone to the guy that "YOUR FEEDBACK IS NOT POSITIVE, YOU CAN LEAVE FOR THE DAY". She could have asked him to come outside and declare his result nicely. He was so embarrassed and left immediately without looking into anyone eyes. Then came HR again, shouted my name and in the similar fashion yelled "YOUR FEEDBACK IS NOT POSITIVE, YOU CAN LEAVE FOR THE DAY". Wow. that's a kind of a way to tell someone that he is rejected. i reached home at 7:00, whole day wasted just for written test. Those who are thinking that our interview might be not good, for your knowledge, sharing story of one of my friend who came there same day for Interview and I met him coincidentally. He came at 9:45 am, cleared his written test, gave Technical F2F interview. And when i was talking to him after his technical interview , at 12:00 HR came and said to him in front of me that he has cleared the second round and told him to wait in a room (not cafeteria) for Manager round. He waited for 3 hours and after that at 3:30 HR came and told him to "leave for the day and they'll get back to him"(we all IT people know what it means). But seriously? Also no food vendor in the cafeteria except one tuckshop and HR gave the reason of renovation/construction work which was no way near to the stalls of food vendors. Overall, if you have a lot of time on weekend to waste and don't mind getting humiliated in case you are rejected then only go for an interview with PFG. you have my best wishes.
