Why do you want to work for a recruiting firm? And are you comfortable with an agency environment?
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Proclinical (Londres, Inglaterra) em mar. de 2025
Entrevista
I was invited to Proclinical’s Liverpool Street office for the first-stage interview. This included two interviews in one session—one with the permanent team and another with the contract team. Everyone I met was friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made the process feel positive and engaging. I then progressed to a second-stage interview, which was conducted via Microsoft Teams. I didn’t move forward beyond this stage, so I can’t say whether there was a final round, but I did receive constructive feedback afterwards. Overall, the process was well-organized, transparent, and a very positive experience.

They asked about my career history, including the types of roles I had worked on and the markets I covered. They wanted to understand my reasons for interviewing with Proclinical, my long-term career goals, and details around my billing performance such as deals and commission figures. I was also asked how I typically approached my role day to day, along with standard questions about my strengths and areas for development.

Lots of virtual interviews that go over the same details.
Typical borderline obnoxious sales personalities.
They reached out to a previous employee for a reference without consent, or even telling me that they did. During the virtual process they left without conclusion after technical difficulties and didn’t reply my follow up email. They asked very intrusive and rude lines of questioning. They were late to the F2F interview by 10 minutes. During a response to a question in the in-person interview , I was interrupted and the interviewers asked proceeded to discuss me without involvement for 5 minutes in-front of me, and expected me to finish my response. Inappropriately probed for company names. During another question a director threw a plastic drinks bottle across the room into the bin (and missed) and expected me to continue with my response. Frankly, not a great recruitment experience and i believe a cop out reason for rejection.
