I only had an initial interview with HR, but I felt compelled to provide feedback here. It was a typical first scoping interview where I was asked questions about my experience and she gave a bit of background about the company and role. Ultimately, I lacked in depth Salesforce experience. However, I really appreciate that my interviewer was transparent enough to let me know this at the end of the call. She was positive throughout the call, even when she delivered "the bad news".

I was referred by a current employee. A week after I applied I was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone interview. The phone interview went really well and the recruiter even brought up another position that seemed like a good fit for me. She was going to reach out both hiring managers and said she would get back to me by the middle of the following week. I didn’t hear back. I even sent 2 follow up emails and received no response. Four weeks later I received and email stating they were finally ready to proceed with interviews for the position I initially applied for. I scheduled an interview with the hiring manager for that position and it also went really well. He advised that it would take 3-4 weeks for the next round of interviews but that I should hear from the recruiter within the next 1-2 weeks regarding next steps. I sent a few follow up emails after the second interview and once again heard nothing back from the recruiter. Another four weeks later I finally received an email stating they restructured the team and are closing this position. The entire process was drawn out way too long. This was very frustrating and unprofessional. If a person isn’t a good fit just tell them and move on. The fact that it took two months and multiple unanswered follow ups to the recruiter is not acceptable.
