Long. 7 interviews over 5 weeks. Everyone I spoke to was lovely and it was well organised. Great recruitment team experience. I was referred in by a network connection. Looking back and seeing who they hired, it seems as if the hiring team probably made their decision about me after the 2nd interview but kept me going through the process either due to network connection or as a safety net candidate in case their top choice didnt accept the offer. After putting a lot of effort into the remaining interviews, this can be discouraging for a candidate.

The interview process was fairly standard and moved along quickly, which I appreciated. The initial conversations were engaging. However, the panel interview felt a bit canned and impersonal. While I understand that each interviewer had a theme to cover (such as company values), the format came across as rigid, more like they were reading off a checklist and showed overall disinterest in the conversation.
