If you’re looking for a quick career change, P&G isn’t for you. The entire process from applying to offer took almost 3 months.
Application Process Steps:
-Applied online
-First round of testing was sent via email shorty after applying. This consisted of a moderately challenging logic and reasoning test. It consisted of questions you may find in an SAT. This is the first phase of “cuts” in the candidate pool.
-The waiting game. I didn’t hear anything after I took that first test but after a lot of investigation, the key to this application is “no news is good news”. I didn’t hear anything for WEEKS.
-Then I received an email inviting me to take the infamous Reasoning Test. This test was in person and timed. It was stressful and challenging and there were some tricky questions. It was the same format as the previous test but longer and more challenging. They do send you a study guide via email before the test but I just glanced at it, thought I was screwed and decided to wing it. When researching this test I saw a lot of people posting, asking how to “ace the test”. Take the test for what it is. It’s challenging your natural ability and knowledge. You can’t fake that.
-Then more waiting... for a couple more weeks. Then one day, I did notice on the application status tracker my status was updated to “final interview” stage.
-Another week or so after that, I had my panel interview. Everyone was very nice but it was a really intimidating and stressful. I felt very welcomed in the office though. All in all, I didn’t think I got it.
-A few days later I got a call from the recruiter asking lots of questions to “build my offer”. (I tried to remain calm and collected once I figured all this out)
-later that day, I got an offer from the person I would be supporting.
Sorry for the long winded post, but I scoured Glassdoor for any info on what to expect during this whole process, so here you go! My offer package was well worth the time, stress and work. Good luck.

You first have to take some online tests - logic, behavioral, etc. There are some sample questions to review before you take them so you are ready. Then they have a pretty standard interview process. They will ask you behavioral & situational questions - but the interviewer may or may not be in the department you will be working. But the process is set and the interviewers are trained and they are looking for certain qualifications. It is a long, slow process - about 3 months until final interview (2 interview w/HR-recruiters and then 3 with P&G directors/VPs). I went all through the process and had a final interview and it went well and I thought I had the position but I guess it was down to me and one other person and I had my last interview with one of the VPs I would be supporting and I guess the VP preferred the other candidate. The good part is once you take all the online testing and you pass, you can apply for other positions for up to one year and you do not have to retake those tests.

Basic situational and behavioral questions. I can't remember exactly but I would be given a situation/challenge and then answer with the STAR method (situation, task, action, result). I'm older and have a lot of experience so this wasn't difficult for me. If you don't have a lot of experience, I recommend reviewing some questions you may be asked and practicing your answers before your interviews.
They were very responsive and ask sensible questions The interview process was organized and professional. The interview process was considerate and informative. Management was very responsive and moved quickly. The easiest process ever!
