I went on an interview initially with the area manager who referred me to one of the store managers. A week later I was interviewed by the store manager. On the spot she said that they both really liked me and that she wanted to hire me. She told me that they would get back to me by latest Tuesday as she needed to send the contract in by Wednesday. She took me around the store to introduce me to all the staff I would work with. But I didn't hear from none of them until Friday the week after. I was explained that the store manager was on vacation and that she was going to quit her job at the store, and that the initial offer that was made to me wasn't valid... So I was referred to another store manager at a different store. She was also given my contact details. But it's been 2 weeks since then, and I haven't heard anything back. So right now I'm assuming the most negative. I just feel really disappointed in how they handled the recruitment, especially as they are the largest optical chain in Scandinavia. I was told that I was going to get a job and then nobody was answering their phones or emails because they were avoiding contact with me to figure out how to respond to me with the bad news. I'm really not happy about this!
