      I recently interviewed for a Client Services Manager role. PrograMetrix's interview process was extremely clear from the get-go. It started with a 30-minute phone conversation, and next steps included a 3-hour in-person interview and then two 1-hour in-person interviews, followed by a final reference check. Pretty standard, but definitely methodical and enjoyable. The conversations covered a wide breadth of the company and role, and went deep into your own professional experience - throughout this, you got immediate feedback on how that fits with the responsibilities of the role and the culture of the company. They were also very good about addressing questions or concerns and making sure you felt you understood the situation fully. They really do build trust through transparency, and discuss their business in an honest and open way, and you feel you can do that in return. Thus, it's not just about them finding the right fit for their business, but also making sure that you can get the information you need to feel that they are the right fit for you. It also gives you a sense of how they must work and communicate with their clients, which is something I really admire about an agency. Because it is a small company, I was able to speak with all members of the company and hear from all sides, which gave me a holistic view of the company and their path forward. Mostly when I hear the words "nimble" or "agile" in a company's description, it sends up red flags, but after speaking with everyone, it is very clear that they have a vision and a direction, but engage in healthy debate, welcome different perspectives and ideas, and respect each other personally and professionally. They are not just "all talk" - they have a clear vision and direction for their business that is really exciting, and I think they're going places. Seriously - follow them, join their team - they're doing some big things.

      Entrevista

      There was 5 interviews. 1. Initial 30 minute phone screening to learn more about the position. 2. 1:1 with one of the owners for 30 mins over Zoom. 3. Group panel with both of the owners over Zoom. This was a 3 hour long interview with a small break in between. It’s a bit of a long process but it’s not intimidating at all and you get to know the owners and the company on a deeper level. You’ll get to really learn more about the company and position by this then just an average hour long panel elsewhere. It’s all dependent on how long the candidate talks, realistically it could have been 2 - 2.5 hours but the interview is booked for 3 hours. 4/5. Finally two separate calls for 30 min over Zoom with the Directors of their respective departments.

      I can honestly say that interviewing with this company was so much more enjoyable than all the other interviews I’ve done. Off the bat they let me know what process they used for hiring so I was able to prepare more thoroughly by researching the method. They were straight-forward, transparent, and I knew what to expect every step of the way as their expectations were set early and their interview process was mapped out for me. I was given an offer in person and accepted. Before being given the offer, they reviewed all the things they liked about my experience and why I would be a good fit for this role, which is always great to hear.

      A small team (currently) and they are laser-focused on getting the right fit for the openings. They want to get to know you as a person, not play games. It's important to shine a light on your digital experience and understand how that experience can translate to what the company needs. The team is awesome and you should take every opportunity to learn from these talented people!
