Three interviews, first seemed to be a culture fit from the hiring manager, second was a general technical questions interview from I think their mid-level engineers, third was a small project review with more senior engineers/IT Director.
They had some hiccups with their HR system's communication: I got emails with someone else's name on them and apparently my communications weren't getting through to some people earlier in the interview process. They seemed to correct that for the 2nd interview, but it was brand new people for the 3rd so I have no idea if they got my follow up communications thanking them for their time, etc.
They only scheduled 30m for the third interview, but we ended up going 40m. They asked for even more time after that but I had another appointment so had to cut it short. I offered to meet again at a later time to finish up any hanging questions but they declined. They should probably schedule 60m for the final interview based on the flow they went with in reviewing the submitted project. We got through all the code in the 30m, but didn't really go over database structure etc.
When I never heard back after the 3rd interview at first I wasn't sure if it was because their HR system was acting up again or I just didn't get the job. I tapped the hiring manager via LinkedIn with no response after a few business days now. They were very responsive before so I'm pretty sure I wasn't selected, but plan on digging up a phone number for their HR to confirm with certainty.
Everyone I met with was professional and nice to chat with.
