Online recorded interview, simple questions then had a zoom interview with two people. Basic interview questions like what would you do if you had an upset customer and how do you manage your time.
They will waste your time. The interview process was the worst I’ve experienced for any role, and this role is entry level. I had a one-way video call interview, an interview with the recruiter, an interview with the recruiter and a supervisor, then an interview with one of the co-founders. After a month of interviews and reference checks during this Holiday season, the recruiter contacted me to let me know the Shift I applied for was no longer available and requested if I had flexibility for a later one. After agreeing to the updated shift and waiting ANOTHER 2 weeks the recruiter reached out to let me know they decided to go with someone else.

How do you work without a lot of direction or guidance?

Entrevista
I went through several stages of the interview process with this company, and ultimately chose to withdraw my application due to how drawn-out and unstructured everything felt.
The first step was a one-way video interview, followed by a live virtual interview with two team members. At that point, I was told the next step would be a final interview with the co-founder. Instead, I was contacted again for yet another “quick chat” with a different person, someone who hadn’t been mentioned previously. The number of interviews kept increasing, which made the process feel inconsistent and unnecessary for the level of the role.
Communication wasn’t very clear either. I asked about the start date and couldn’t get a definite answer beyond “sometime in January,” with no specific timeline. It made it difficult to get a sense of their internal organization or readiness to hire.
While everyone I spoke with was polite, the process overall felt disorganized and much longer than what’s typical for similar positions. After weighing everything, I decided the role wasn’t the right fit for me.
Advice to Management:
Streamline your hiring process and make sure candidates clearly understand how many steps there are. Providing firm timelines would also help applicants feel more confident in moving forward.
