Entrevista
I applied for the role at the end of August and promptly heard back within 2 weeks. Scheduled an interview with their Chief Talent Officer and had an opportunity to learn more about the role and the leader they sought to fill the position. It sounded at the time that there were no reporting structures designed for the opportunity, and was told I'd hear back with next steps the following week. I received an email at 10:30 PM on a Friday night 10 days later requesting a hefty performance task that was due on Monday. In my experience both as a candidate and as a hiring manager, I was taken aback from the ask due to the time the action item was sent, the turnaround time and the ask of the task. The task was not undoable, but the task, IMO, involved strategic planning and program design for a program that I'm assuming does not have their ask in place yet. A 2-day turnaround over a weekend spoke volumes of the organization's inclusion and people operations and I'm sure that's indicative of the work culture of the organization. I was provided no feedback after 1 phone screen and 1 assignment - most places I've interviewed would have allowed me an opportunity to present a strategy like the prompt they provided me due to the amount of time this ask requested. I believe the organization needs to strengthen recruitment processes that improve the candidate's experience both in clarity and equity.
