I was contacted via phone by local Prudential hiring staff regarding the position, which led me to believe that there was something specific in my resume/experience that they were looking for. I made an appointment to visit with the local manager and overall it was not an unpleasant experience, but the position was "entry-level" according to the interviewer (as was the pay). This combined with my lack of experience in finance/insurance gave me the impression that the hiring staff was just trying to find many candidates, without much regard for their experience. Therefore I decided to opt out of the rest of the hiring process.
