One of the longer interview processes I have been in. Each step was done over the phone or Zoom and a new interview would be scheduled a week later for the next step. Final interview was in person and heard offer within a week. 3 months from application to offer.

5 interviews. First was via Skype (screening). Next 3 were in a coffee shop (noisy, hard to concentrate). Last was by phone. About an hour for each one. Very nice, professional group of people, but would have preferred that I had been "de-selected" from the process much earlier. One of their major sticking points (I believe) was my lack of desire to work in a particular work environment - which I voiced from the beginning. As we went along, it became more apparent that a substantial amount of time would be spent in the scenario I was trying to avoid. If that had been articulated earlier, I would have excused myself from the process much earlier. Aside from that, 4 of the 5 interviews were very intentional and their approach was pleasant. Would highly suggest conducting the interviews either in a quiet corner or in a reserved room. It's odd to be interviewing with unrelated folks sipping their coffees and listening to your responses.
