After receiving a glowing (I guess) recommendation from a former colleague who currently works there, a member of the recruiting team phoned me up one day and scheduled a phone interview. I can't remember what all that entailed, but it was pretty high level. After that, I was scheduled to come up for a vis a vis. They did mention that this would be a three hour or so process, which was something that threw me for a loop.
The first part of the face to face had a quick skills assessment which took about a half an hour. Just really to make sure I knew what I was doing and was consistent with what was on my resume.
A 'personality' interview followed which lasted about an hour. This was pretty much run of the mill stuff...Describe challenging situations and how I mitigated that challenge. What are my strengths and weaknesses. Do I like to work alone, or in a group and why. Lots of questions, but appropriate and not a whole lot that threw me off guard.
Then, I was given a business case to present to a group of decision makers. I had an hour to prepare and an hour to present. Very challenging. Essentially, I had to give Sapient's perspective on how to solve a business problem and reduce customer service costs while maintaining superior customer service. Essentially, a big whiteboard exercise. I was given some background including financials and history of the company. There was 6 questions I had to answer as part of the exercise. So as you might guess, I segmented them accordingly on the whiteboard and incorporated into my presentation :-)

Was refereed by one of my friends for a Business Analyst position. First they asked me to come the very next day of initial call for f2f as some one didn't turn up for the interview and the slot was free!!. I was like WHAT..they were even ready to bypass the phone screen !!.. I told no and will need time to prepare. The initial process went OK.. except for last minute changes on the interview times, as the interviewers had other meetings to 'attend'. The phone interview went well. The person who interviewed me was from India (but in Houston) and was more on a technical front, even though the position was for a functional business analyst. I cleared the interview and was asked to come the for F2F- for 4 hours !! Initial one hour was a behavioral done by one of Sapient's director (again some one from India). It went very well. He was very knowledgeable and know how to do the behavioral round. Next I was given a case study and told that it will be a role play. After an hour I was surprised the see the same guy (who did my first phone screening) coming to assess my case. He didnt know that it was a role play. and it was embarrassment for both of us by our behavior. He again started on asking technical things and I told him I am not here for that, but was able to answer all of his questions.. He wanted a Dennis riche as a business analyst !!..phew.. I knew its not going good. Then the last round was done by a senior director (Non Indian lol) , very nice person to assess my background culture and interests. It went very well..

The overall process is very straight forward. It is made up of 4 total interviews, an initial phone interview and then if you move forward, you'll go into the office for 3 face to face interviews.
