Asked about previous work experience. Pretty easy going, wore a suit. I had to know someone to get the interview however. Be able to describe challenges you've faced. Be able to work well in a team environment and just stress the importance of giving the publix persona. Publix is all about image so dress to impress.

Can you describe your customer service responsibilities at your previous job?
Asked what I knew about the company. Interviewer was impressed I knew the founder and when it was founded. The interview was very easy and no prior work experience was needed.
Really was easy. Basically the only question asked was why I wanted to work there. I basically just said because I’ve always enjoyed going to Publix growing up and seeing all the employees with a smile made me know it was a good place to work.

I applied online and I showed up at the job fair in both March to learn about the company and April to actually do my interview. It was for a new store they are opening in Rolesville.
