I interviewed at Pure Legal Limited in Liverpool. 5 hours long, including 1 hour break. The ''interview'' was actually an Assessment Day, which was very inquisitive. It consisted of a written and oral speech where you were meant to promote yourself, and 3 tests, those being a knowledge test, an attention to detail test, and a drawing test. The knowledge test really upset me as it consisted of first listening to a slide presentation on which you then had to answer very specific questions, such as state names of directors and other. The presentation went too fast for my liking. The recruiters were clueless as to how to conduct the presentation. They spoke as if they read everything from a piece of paper, wanting to get on with it. A few days prior to the assessment day, I spoke with 1 of them about what the assessment day consisted, and was given misleading advice, which significantly contributed to my bad score in the knowledge test. They lacked seriousness and I felt I was being made fun of. This didn't feel like an interview for a law firm, there was complete lack of organization. It took almost a month from the moment of being contacted for the role to the day of the result of the assessment day, which was a generic rejection email with no feedback given whatsoever on why we didn't get the job.
