My experience was recruiter call, hiring manager call, take-home, and on-site. Recruiter was nice, but I felt that the whole recruiting process was chaotic and disorganized. I felt like there were many moving pieces with not enough advance notice. I honestly felt a bit overwhelmed and confused throughout the whole process.

Short screen with HR. Then four interviews with various team members over the course of a day. They asked general questions on kubernetes and asked to design an HA system. They provided a GitHub readme doc for the latter that went through a similar problem and described the concepts surrounding it.

I applied for a VP position and got an initial interview although in that first interview they informed me they felt I wasn't actually qualified for the position and had decided to consider me for a team lead role instead, a far lower level position than VP. I was told one of their executives was very interested in finding a role for me in the organization but they weren't sure what role best fit. I agreed to interview with the executive, although that interview ended up being a waste of time and the individual didn't seem to know what she might want to hire me for. While I was willing to consider other roles in the organization, the fact that the first interview was a bait and switch for a far lower level position was very frustrating and didn't inspire confidence in the organization.
