It is hard to believe but I did not show up for the interview because I didn't want to work for them as it was an unpaid internship. I did not even tell them that I was not coming. Thinking QCRI and I were done with each other, I shifted my focus onto other places. However, 1 or 2 weeks later I receive an email saying that I got selected for the internship (without even showing up for the interview!) This time I promptly and politely emailed back declining their offer.
